Business Outlook 2016, the annual business show organised by the Portishead Chamber of commerce was another great success this year. The feedback from those attending was extremely positive and those I spoke to said they found the event beneficial and enjoyable.

Outlook 2016 2

Held at Somerset Hall in May, it gave local businesses and those from the surrounding areas a chance to showcase themselves, meet new and old contacts, find out what’s going on in the local business community and hear some inspiring speakers.

As always the exhibition stands were sold out, Jeanette Hingley, owner of Berry Rowan Recruitment Services and exhibitor at the event commented;

“Business Outlook is great for me and my business, getting the chance to catch-up with other businesses is invaluable and the speakers were excellent and highly motivating, offering some great advice and tips. There is a great ambiance at the show and I highly recommend any local business to make sure they are a part of it whether as an exhibitor or a delegate – we’ll definitely be back next year.”

Outlook 2016

This year’s speakers included, Rob Carter, award winning Business Coach, David Sloly, entrepreneur, business mentor and author and Nick Collins a Director from the very successful Loungers company.

The Chamber would like to thank all those businesses that attended and especially Victoria Hancock and her team at In Any Event for all the work they put in to making the event the great success it is.
